June Chapter Meeting and Ride

                                                                                                                                                   Star 152 chapter Ride

 

     With the bad weather finally behind us; it was a beautiful day for our chapter ride. We met up on Saturday at Full Throttle Power sports, our chapter’s sponsor, to get this ride underway. Conducting our chapter’s business was our chapter’s President George.  With a little help from chapter members that business was over fast and away we went through the beautiful Wasatch and Unita mountain ranges. (Hey we had a new rider riding with us. Please welcome Debbie who was riding a Suzuki sports bike; and oh yeah she can ride the tires off that machine).

     Today’s ride is affectionately known as the 5 dam ride or to the old timers the dam ride. On this ride we motored ourselves around 5 reservoirs in the Utah Mountains and they are East Canyon, Echo, Pineview, Jordanelle and Deercreek.  We rode some 180 miles and visited some of Utah’s  finest small towns and high mountain country. Our riding season may not be as long as other areas in out great country, but for the time we have to ride there is no finer place to ride. And I may be a little bit biased, but we have some of the best riders to ride with.
