April Chapter Meeting and Ride

 

     With riding season finally here in Utah and with Mother Nature giving us a small break between storms, Saturday’s ride turned out to be a great ride to get the cobwebs off and get our game faces on for a year of riding.

     We had a new member riding with us today, His name is Neal and he was riding a brand new Venture Trike and is a Star Vet.

     We started our morning at Full Throttle, our chapters sponsor. George gathered the riders together and talked to us about all the upcoming events for our chapter. With all the events planned for this year’s riding season it looks like we are going to put some fun miles on our bikes.

     We left Full Throttle and made our way to the south end of Salt Lake to visit with one of Utah’s many Yamaha dealerships, South Valley Motorsports. We spent some time at this marvelous dealership and then we headed out for a ride around the Oquirrh Mountains.  Our next stop was in Tooele Utah at another Yamaha dealership, Stedman’s. Stedman’s is a dealership out in rural Utah with the attitude that everyone is a friend. After our visit to Stedman’s it was time for some good eats and Virg’s is one good place to eat and a great way to end a good ride. One of our goals this year is to visit as many Yamaha dealerships as we can in our travels; so look out we may be in your town soon.

     We want to thank all the riders for making our ride a fun and safe ride and we also want to thank South Valley Motorsports and Stedman’s for their hospitality... and of course to Virg’s for feeding us.
